I think of the ones that signed a contract, (loan) to go to college then expect the rest of us that worked like dogs to pay their loans off.

So it is only legal with parental consent. They are not trying to *make it legal*, it is *already* legal.
By the way, you don't have to pick on a "hick state" for this, either. California also allows persons under 18 to marry with parental consent,
just like Missouri does.

i actually somewhat miss it when people could smoke indoors. i remember one weekend everyone hanging out in the bar having a blast and the next weekend the law changed and it became this routine of people heading back and forth to smoke while i sat inside waiting. i don't miss hanging my jacket up on the deck to air it out though..
I had a lot of relatives, but none I lived with, that were life-long smokers at the time. It was really difficult for them to even consider stopping. What surprised me was how many people my age, and slightly younger, who picked up the habit despite the dire warnings.

I quit in 2008 and other than the normal bs that goes with being a diabetic, I didn't really have any other issues.
My wife finally quit a little over a year ago. It was killing her. Less that three weeks after quitting, her face had completely changed and she looked much more lively and younger. She can't breathe anymore and she has gained about 20 lbs but I am just so glad she finally quit...

Awesome that you kicked that. But, if you ever (EVER) decide to try again, PLEASE remember that you don't need to take as much as you did when you regularly did them, and only take a tiny fraction of what you did before.
To this day I still cannot stand to smell cigarettes and cant stand the taste or the consistancy of a soda, cannot believe I used to consume so much of that crap.
Pepsi is the last of my 'vices' and one I need to stop and soon...
